We selectively breed one litter a year, for spring/summer. We focus on health and temperament. All our breeding dogs are health checked for heart murmurs and Luxated Patellas. Their eyes are CERFed annually (to check for genetic early onset cataracts.) They are BAER tested for hearing (a one time test done at an early age.) Their Bile Acids are checked for genetic Liver Issues (such as liver shunting).

Our dogs are members of our family. They live in our home, sleep with us, and travel with us. Our puppies are whelped in a bedroom in our home. We start our pups on the "Super Dog Program" (developed by the US Military) for sensitivity to stress when they are 3 days old. They are handled daily. After their eyes open they are moved to the kitchen/family room where they are exposed to the sights and sounds of the household and other dogs. We learn more with each litter and are always trying to improve the early socialization and training of our puppies. We take them out for rides in the car and socialization after they receive their first set of vaccines. We introduce them to crates, leashes, and "Piddle Pads",as well as brushing, bathing, having their nails trimmed and teeth checked. The puppies are allowed to go to their new homes at 9 weeks of age. Before the leave they are examined twice by our veterinarian. They get 2 sets of vaccines, 2 months of heartworm prevention, and their dew claws are removed. Each pup goes home with a "Puppy Kit" that contains their AKC paperwork, their health records, a copy of the CERF and BAER testing on their parents, a Harness, information on training and grooming, a "Piddle Pad", and a bag of the food they are eating. They also get a toy and a crate mat that have the "scent" of "mom and home" on them. Our puppies are sold as pets. We guarantee a generous refund when we receive proof of neutering. We stand behind our puppies and are always available to help with any questions or concerns. We continually learn from our puppy owners and love to get photos and updates on our pups. Please contact us for 2009 pricing, availability, and our neutering refund. Thank you for your interest in our pups.
